The Countdown to D-Day!!

So we are exactly one week away from being a family of 4. I feel like although we have lots to do, I spend a lot of time waiting, and forgetting everything that is important. My brain is turning into mush, and my belly is growing faster than I ever thought possible!! Luckilly Tyler and Tolkien and all of our friends and family give me a bit of patience and remind me of things that need to be done.

Tolkien's Grandma Donna is coming into town this Friday and then Grandma and Grandpa Browne are coming on Sunday, so they will be here for the arrival. Tolkien is spending his last days as an only child becoming a musician. Possibly to impress all of his grandparents and aunts and uncles. And possibly to really find himslef before he has to show his baby bro or sis the ropes of being a "Perry."

This is a photo of Tolkien starting to really "rock out" as he would say, and show us his skills. As long as he doesnt throw his harmonica at the baby, I think we'll be good! Hope you are all well.

2 pregnant chicks!!

Although these days I feel like a side show everywhere I go, the night I went out to dinner with my friend Jen who is also pregnant, made quite the double take entertainment for others! Everyone gives an up and down to one pregnant chick,,,,,, but two in a row....... Now theres something to oggle at!! It was pretty funny. Here we are before taking down a fondue dinner! Can't wait to have the babies' first play date in a few weeks!

3 Weeks and 2 Days .....But who's counting??

So I guess that the excitement and anxiety have set in!! I can't wait to have this baby now. Im getting quite uncomfortable with what seems like some sort of rhinoserus strapped to my stomache. There aren't too many positions that are comfortable anymore. But as my to do lists get shorter and the days get longer, I know it has to be soon!

We had our Docotr's appt yesterday, and surprisingly for everyone I am already diallated 2 Centimeters. This was new to me since I never dialated with Tolkien. Even the doctor was surprised. Tyler is starting to get his work at school finished up these next couple weeks, so that he can take some time for the baby, when it arrives. I thought I would post this picture of me and my gianormous belly for all of you. Hope you are doing well, and hope ot hear from you soon.

What is that???

Well we had our 32 week,4 day ultrasound today, and I think overall every view of the baby, we both were thinking what was that??? The baby is so big now, that they cant get a very good shot of it on screen, not to mention that the baby was sleeping and was in no mood to cooperate with us to get a good face shot. So the pics that I have put on here, are not so good, but they were the only ones we got, the cute part is the ear! The overall news from the ultrasound testing was good. The baby is almost 5 pounds, which we all had a good laugh at in the room, thats pretty big! And it has already quite a bit of hair, just like Tolkien. There was some heart beat skipping, but the Doctor seemed to be hopeful that it will stop once its born. Only 6 weeks and 4 days left till we meet this "little" person! Take care!!

Our holidays!!

We had a fabulous holiday season this year! We spent Hannukah and Christmas here in Madison, and took a trip home to Minnesota for a Hannukah party at Grandma and Grandpa Browne's house! Tolkien possibly got too many gifts, but seems to be handelling it okay!

More ultrasounds!

Here are the pics from the 25th week ultrasound. This was done to get a full view of the spine, which they had a hard time getting with the 22 week one. It was great again, and the baby finally cooperated with the tech to get some good views. Again it was amazing to see the difference that 3 weeks can make in the baby's growth. When we were watching it in 4D the baby opened its mouth and gave a little smile, and then in true Browne/Perry form....... tried to pick its nose! ;)

This is the 22 Week ultrasound. This was a lot of fun because this one takes a long time and we got to see the little peanut move a lot! The technician knew what the sex was but we didnt want to find out. We we're also able to see the baby in 4D , which was very exciting! The pics don't do the experience justice. It was really amazing to see the baby in this way.
