Getting Ready for the C-Section
Our new baby Girl!!March 3rd 8:35am Talulah entered the world and surprised us all. We couldnt believe that we had a baby girl! Even Grandma Perry thought Tyler was lying when he went out to tell everyone the news. She is a beautiful girl and wieghed in and measured in bigger than Tolkien! She was 9lbs,13oz and 22" long.
Our stay in the hospital was just enough for us to heal and spend some time just the 3 of us, before we came home to be the 4 of us. Tyler is overjoyed to have his little girl now, and I think I didnt realize how much I wanted a girl, until they told me I had one! We feel pretty complete right now.
Talulah, (meaning "Leaping Water" is Native American in origin) is truly her mother's daughter so far. She looks a lot like me when I was born, so we'll see if that continues or not. She even has Jaundice like I did. We have had her under a "Billy Blanket" to lower her Red Blood cel count in her system, which after her check up today, seems to have been working. We know one thing about her for sure after 6 days of life.... she likes to eat!! I will finally post some pics from her birthday to the present.
Thanks to Grandma Perry for being here with Tolkien and with all of us during this crazy week, and thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Browne for driving here from MN to be here for Talulah's arrival. We have loved all the visits from Aaron and Terri, (Thanks for brushing my hair) and Lauren and David at the hospital, who kept Tyler and my family company while I kept passing out! And to all of our wonderful friends that made the treck to Meriter to visit, Renae, Jen, Jeff and Kris, Allison, Nicole, & Meredith, you are all wonderful.
We look forward to seeing anyone else who would like to visit our new family! Take care and enjoy the pictures!

The Countdown to D-Day!!
So we are exactly one week away from being a family of 4. I feel like although we have lots to do, I spend a lot of time waiting, and forgetting everything that is important. My brain is turning into mush, and my belly is growing faster than I ever thought possible!! Luckilly Tyler and Tolkien and all of our friends and family give me a bit of patience and remind me of things that need to be done.
Tolkien's Grandma Donna is coming into town this Friday and then Grandma and Grandpa Browne are coming on Sunday, so they will be here for the arrival. Tolkien is spending his last days as an only child becoming a musician. Possibly to impress all of his grandparents and aunts and uncles. And possibly to really find himslef before he has to show his baby bro or sis the ropes of being a "Perry."
This is a photo of Tolkien starting to really "rock out" as he would say, and show us his skills. As long as he doesnt throw his harmonica at the baby, I think we'll be good! Hope you are all well.
2 pregnant chicks!!
Although these days I feel like a side show everywhere I go, the night I went out to dinner with my friend Jen who is also pregnant, made quite the double take entertainment for others! Everyone gives an up and down to one pregnant chick,,,,,, but two in a row....... Now theres something to oggle at!! It was pretty funny. Here we are before taking down a fondue dinner! Can't wait to have the babies' first play date in a few weeks!

3 Weeks and 2 Days .....But who's counting??
So I guess that the excitement and anxiety have set in!! I can't wait to have this baby now. Im getting quite uncomfortable with what seems like some sort of rhinoserus strapped to my stomache. There aren't too many positions that are comfortable anymore. But as my to do lists get shorter and the days get longer, I know it has to be soon!
We had our Docotr's appt yesterday, and surprisingly for everyone I am already diallated 2 Centimeters. This was new to me since I never dialated with Tolkien. Even the doctor was surprised. Tyler is starting to get his work at school finished up these next couple weeks, so that he can take some time for the baby, when it arrives. I thought I would post this picture of me and my gianormous belly for all of you. Hope you are doing well, and hope ot hear from you soon.
